In Florida, it’s probably a very good decision to attempt to avoid probate upon death. Probate is a court process of administering an estate. It is time consuming. It can be very costly and it can last up to two years in the state of Florida. We recommend that all of our clients set up an estate plan that’s designed to avoid probate so that you can pass your assets on to your family members quickly and without delay.
