Can a will be changed or revoked?
Video Transcript
A will can be changed by executing a codicil, which will incorporate by reference the terms of the prior will, but will modify only certain terms of conditions of that will. A will can be revoked in two ways. First, a will can be revoked by physical act, meaning that the testator can either tear up the will, burn it, or write things on the will to indicate the intention to revoke the will. In addition, a will can be revoked by executing a subsequent document, including a will, that specifically states that it revokes all prior wills.
